Sylvia Ray Howell

Sylvia Ray Howell age 66 passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 at her home. Sylvia was born on March 22, 1945 to her parents the late Emery Ray and Tilda Hamilton Ray. She was the wife of the late Green Howell, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie, Clancy, and Odis Ray, and three sisters, Goldie, Opal, and Okel. Sylvia is survived by one brother, Leonard Ray of Battle Creek, Michigan, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Sam Hall Cemetery at Bear Fork.
