Sharon Ann Ray

Sharon Ann Ray age 66 passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at Mare Creek. Sharon was born on January 27, 1946 to her parents the late Harold Hart and Virginia Grace Odell Hart. She was the wife of Danny Ray, an employee of Food City, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by one daughter, Renee Joy Ray, and one brother, Gary Hart. Along with her husband, Sharon is survived by three sons, Bryan M. Pace of Columbus, Ohio, Donald J. Ray of Paintsville, Ky., Kevin E. Ray of Stanville, Ky., one daughter, Lora Deniese Penn of Frankfort, Ky., three brothers, Jerry, Harold, and Terry Hart, two sisters, Connie Creech, Karen Henson, four grandchildren, Mitchell Jordan Ray, Carson Grant Ray, Caleb Tyler Robinson, Jamie Kirkland Robinson, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, January 27, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Gethesenane Gardens at Prestonsburg, Ky.
