Ethel Hunt Coleman, age 94, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Phelps. Ethel was born on Feb. 28, 1918 to her parents the late Frank Thornsbury and Cenia Plymale Thornsbury. She was the wife of the late Thomas Hunt, a homemaker, and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Along with her parents and first husband, Ethel was preceded in death by her second husband, Bailey Taylor Coleman, one son, Thomas D. Hunt, four brothers, three sisters, and five grandchildren. Ethel is survived by four sons, Lee Roy Hunt of Vinton, Ohio, Andrew (Dorthea) Hunt of Kimper, Ky., Billy (Margie) Hunt of Kimper, Earl (Hazel) Hunt of Kimper, one daughter, Susie (Edward) Abbott of Kimper, fifteen grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Long Fork Primitive Baptist Church at Kimper. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Long Fork Primitive Baptist Church with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Hunt Brothers Cemetery at Kimper.
