Hick Baker age 70, of Jenkins, Ky. passed away at his residence on March 7, 2012 in Haymond, Ky. He is survived by three daughters, Lesa Perry of Wise, Va and son-in-law Roy Perry Jr. of Jenkins, Ky., Angelia and Garrard Holbrook of Haymond, Ky, Lesley king Stephens and James Stephens of Potter's Fork, Ky. He has two grandsons, Joseph Perry and Tyler Holbrook, three granddaughters, Katelyn Perry, Samantha Holbrook, and Brooklyn King, two grandson-in-laws, Dustin Belcher and Josh Anderson, and one great grandson Parker Wayne Anderson, three brothers, Hubert and Illene Baker of Johnson City, Tn., Sammy and Janet Baker of Haymond, Ky., Randall and Donna Kaye Baker of Pound, Va., one sister, Christine and Bernard Osborne of Pike County, Ky. Along with two special friends, Jeff Gibson and Steve Loflin, several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Samuel Baker and Fannie Lucas Baker, one brother, Herbert Baker, one sister, Minerva Holcomb, and his grandson, Joseph Perry. He was a United States Army Veteran, Member of the Jenkins Area Jaycees, and member of the Jenkins American Legion. He will be sadly missed. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday March 10, 2012 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bennie McCall and Derek McCall officiating. The burial will follow in the Sam Lucas Cemetery at Big Shelby.
