Ray Cook

Ray Cook age 69 of Shelbiana, Ky. passed away Friday March 16,2012 at his residence. Ray was born March 2,1943 to his parents the late Joe and Ruby Childers Cook.He was the husband of Erva Jean Chaney Cook. Joe was a retired Coal Miner Mechanic, served in the Army and was a member of the Poor Bottom Freewill Baptist Church. Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Jacobs Cook. Along with his wife,Joe is survived by one son Keith Cook of Elkhorn City, Ky. one daughter Jeheniah Kilgore of Pikeville, Ky. two step-daughters, Karen Bevins and Kimberly Thacker. Four Brothers, Eldon Cook of TN, Randall Cook of Florida, Frankie Cook of Colorado, Ralph Cook of VA, one sister, Deanna Cantrell of Lower Pigeon Seven Grandchildren,Four Step-Grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Saturday March 17 at 6 p.m.at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday March 19 at 1 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Saturday & Sunday night at 7 p.m.
