Bobbie Thacker

Bobbie Thacker, age 87, of Marrowbone, Ky, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on May 25, 1924, the daughter of the late John and Esta Young May. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dan W. Thacker. She was a member of the Elizabeth Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Geneva Talbert, Joyce Wallace, Danna Lois Thacker, and Jeanetta Bartley, and by a son Morris Thacker, by twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Glenn Hall, Teddy Honaker and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Saturday and Sunday nights at 7 p.m.
