Henry (Salty Peanut) Adkins

Henry (Salty Peanut) Adkins, age 77 passed away Friday March 30,2012 at his residence. Henry was born March 31,1934 to his parents the late Peter and Goldie Thacker Adkins. Henry was the husband of Louellen Thacker Adkins and was a Coal Miner. Along with his wife Henry was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny and Jimmy Adkins, and several brothers and sisters. Henry is survived by one son Roger (Mae) Adkins of Greasy Creek, three daughters, Lynn (Billy) Johnson of Regina, Goldenna Adkins of Pikeville, Gail (David) Tackett of Jonancy, six sisters, Alpha Justice of N.C., Alma McPeek of ID, Zella McPeek of ID, Hattie Haywood of MI, Edith Metcalf of OH, Deliah Villerreal of OH, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of friends and family who love him and will miss him dearly. visitation will be Saturday 3-31-2012 6 p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday 4-2-2012 1p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Saturday & Sunday Night 7 p.m. burial will be in the Adkins Cemetery on Greasy Creek.
