Gregory Allen Adkins

Gregory Allen Adkins, age 58 of Pikeville passed away Saturday March 31,2012 at the Huntington VA Hospital. Greg was born November 4,1953 to his parents the late John and Oma Coleman Blair Adkins. Greg was a Coal Miner and served in the United States Army. Along with his parents Greg was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl Jr. Adkins, Bobby Joe Adkins, Charles Everett Blair,John Thomas Blair,and one sister Alena Adkins. Greg is survived by one son, Jonathan Greg Adkins, two daughters, Tina (David) Robinson, Misty (Isaac Shawn) Sanders, one sister, Joyce Blackburn, six brothers, Daniel Adkins, Starkey Adkins, Troy B. Adkins, Ronald Blake Blair, Larry Blair, Fred Blair Jr., four grandchildren and a host of family and friends that love him and will miss him dearly. visitation will be Monday 4-2-2012 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home Funeral will be Tuesday 4-3-2012 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Monday Night 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery on Harless Creek.
