Lizzie Bowling

Lizzie Bowling, age 91 passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Lizzie was born on April 11, 1920. She was the wife of the late Howard Bowling, a homemaker, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Lizzie was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Bowling, one daughter, Eunice Bowling, and several brothers and sisters. Lizzie is survived by one daughter, Trula Bowling of Elkhorn City, one son, Allen Bowling of Michigan, special grandson and caretaker, John Hylton, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bowling Fork Cemetery.
