Robert Richard Lowe

Robert Richard Lowe, age 79 passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Robert was born on August 20, 1932 to his parents the late Guy Hager Lowe and Lucy Varney Lowe. He was a mower for Ky WV Gas Company and a member of the Mayflower Unity Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one sister, Lula Daughtery. Robert is survived by one brother, Guy (Jimbo) Lowe, five sisters, Nezzie Compton, Phyllis Yates, Fern Edwards, Eleanor Hunt, Joy Cross, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Mayflower Unity Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday April 11, 2012 at the Mayflower Unity Baptist Church with Tim McClannahan officiating. The burial will follow in the Lowe Cemetery at Gulnare.
