Herma Dobson Martin

Herma Dobson Martin age 89 of Jenkins, Ky., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her home. She was born on Feb. 14, 1923 in Knott County, Ky. Herma was the wife of the late Wash Martin, a homemaker, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Herma was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Martin, two daughters, Sharon Gale Williams and Charlene Martin, two brothers and one sister. Herma is survived by two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 10a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, April 20, 2012 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman officiating. The burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Whitesburg.
