Carl Ellis Clevinger

Carl Ellis Clevinger age 70 passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Lutheran Hospital. Carl was born on Sept. 8, 1941 to his parents the late Chester Clevinger and Lola Swiney Clevinger. He was the husband of Jeannette Hamlin Clevinger, a factory worker for Dana Weatherhead, and a member of the South Sciopo United Brethren Church. Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by one brother, James Clinard Clevinger. Along with his wife, Carl is survived by four sons, Chad Clevinger, Matt Clevinger, Shane Clevinger, Woody Clevinger, two brothers, Bronson (Glenda) Clevinger, Dwayne (Carol) Clevinger, two sisters, Joyce (Clay) Coleman, Donrita (Floyd) Ramsier, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 12 noon at the Clevinger Cemetery.
