Elsie Green Lucas

Elsie Green Lucas age 65 passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her home. Elsie was born on April 17, 1947 to her parents the late Bert Green Jr. and Edith Polly Green. She was the wife of Bruce Lucas Sr., a homemaker, and a member of the People Fundamental Baptist Church. Along with her husband, Bruce, Elsie is survived by one son, Bruce Lucas Jr., one daughter, Lisa Robin Bentley, one sister, Linda Scoggins, three grandchildren, Isaac Lucas, Weston Lucas, and Jacob Bentley. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Van Webb and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Lucas Cemetery at Big Shelby Creek.
