Ina Hampton Newsom

Ina Hampton Newsom age 79 passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at her home in West Virginia. Ina was born on August 26, 1932 to her parents the late Willie Hampton and Ethel Newsome Hampton. She was the wife of the late Minus Newsome Jr., and a homemaker. Along with her husband and parents, Ina was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett Hampton, Eugene Hampton, and Tom Hampton, and one sister, Audrey Coleman. Ina is survived by one son, Edward (Bonnie) Newsome, one sister, Wanda Hawkins, four brothers, Raymond Hampton, Darlin Hampton, Joe Hampton, Junior Hampton, one granddaughter, Jenny Elswick, two great-grandchildren, Tyler Elswick and Tiffany Elswick (deceased). Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Rob Newsome Cemetery at Little Robinson.
