John Harold Rowe

John Harold Rowe age 84 passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the South Williamson ARH Medical Center. John was born on Jan. 26, 1928 to his parents the late Vernon B. Rowe and Birtie Taylor Rowe. He was the husband of Stella Hampton Rowe, a retired coal miner for Kentland Elkhorn Coal Company, and a member of the Mt. View Church of Christ. Along with his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by one sister, Mazie Estep. John is survived by three sons, Jimmy Lyndell (Rhonda) Rowe of Pikeville, Harold Dean (ReJeana) Rowe of Phyllis, Larry Keith Rowe of Phyllis, four sisters, Thelma Harvey, Esta Hall, Lucy Rowe, Leona Moody, one special niece, Mary Schnieder, seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Mt. View Church of Christ. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Mt. View Church of Christ with Joe Hall and Frank Crum officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
