Clearcy Jane Damron, 92 years of age passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Pikeville Methodist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Glenn, her parents, William and Nancy Meadows 2 sons- Jessie Lee, Glen Dale, one daughter, Geraldine and four grandchildren- Sheila, Frank Edward, Christopher, Sarah Ann, brothers, Francis (Bud) Meadows, Charles Meadows, Alex Meadows and sisters, Pearl Damron, Maudie Damron, Rose Damron, son-in-laws, Donald Farmer, Dayton Hall, Greg Adkins, and daughter-in-laws-Brenda Fern Looney Damron, Mary Price, and Thelma Jane (Janie) Peas Damron. She is survived by seven daughters – Linda Hall, Jean Rose (Tommy), Brenda Stewart, Irene Birchfield (Tim), Mary Riley (Terry), Martha Pinson (Bobby), Sharon Kay Newsome (Paul), six sons, Nelson (Nick), Johhny (Pam), Clyde, Frank (Sharon), Joey Moses (Robbie), Joseph (Leisa), 41 grandchildren, 77 great-grand children and 49 great-great grandchildren, one sister –Sally Ratliff and a host of nephews and nieces and extended family. Services are under the direction of Lucas and Son Funeral Home with visitation on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7 pm and funeral services Wednesday at 11:00 am with Jimmy Dale Sanders and others officiating.
