June Bullion Tackett

June Bullion Tackett, age 93, of Lick Fork Road passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1918, the daughter of the late Pat and Ida McClellon Bullion. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Dudley Tackett, by five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by three sons, Phillip, David, and Keith Tackett, by three daughters, Linda Tackett Gibson, Retta Gail Tackett Potter, and Marsha Kay Tackett Forker, by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday May 28, 2012 after 6 p.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Belcher, Harold Smallwood and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery. Special services will be held on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7 p.m.
