Deborah Lynn Chaney

Deborah Lynn Chaney, age 61, of Virgie, Ky., passed away on May 26, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on February 11, 1951, the daughter of Fred Gray and the late Jetta Thacker Gray. Deborah was a homemaker and a member of the Sutton Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she is also survived by her husband, Raymond Chaney, by two daughters, Katrina (Gary) Wright and Susan (Chris) Rogers, by four brothers, John, Phil, Doug, and Gary Gray, by a sister, Kathy (Steve) Elswick, by three grandchildren, Christian Dakota Rogers, Cameron Michael Cheek, and Jett Grayson Wright, and by a very special niece and nephew, LeAnn and Shane Elswick. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Scott Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Sunday night at 7 p.m.
