Mae Bevins Crigger

Mae Bevins Crigger, age 92, of Pikeville, KY. passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on July 12, 1919, the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Myrtle Adams Bevins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Crigger, by two brothers, Eugene and Orville Bevins, and by four sisters, Annie Bevins, Madeline Mellen, Rosalee Croy, and Francis Bevins. Mae had been a cook for the Johns Creek School and was a member of the Zebulon Church of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Loretta Blackburn and Anna Gail Taylor, both of Pikeville, KY, by two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Chester Varney, Shane Lockard, and Buddy Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Bent Ridge Cemetery. Special services will be held on Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m.
