Walter Kenneth "Jim" Pugh

Walter Kenneth "Jim" Pugh age 62 passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at his home. Jim was born on June 28, 1950 to his parents the late Walter Pugh and Irene Thacker Pugh. He was the husband of Nadine Scott Pugh, a retired coal miner for Cheyenne Elkhorn Coal company, and a member of the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Along with his wife, Jim is survived by one son, Kenneth Ryan Pugh of Shelbiana, Ky., two daughters, Tonya Hall of Elkhorn City, Ky., Brandi Pugh of Phyllis, Ky., one step son, Jonathan Matney of Waco, Ky., one step daughter, Nicole Darnell of Pikeville, Ky., one sister, Geneva Wheeler of Blaine, Ky., two brothers, Ronnie Murphy of Sidney, Ky., Forester Murphy of Michigan, five grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 3p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ. Church services will be Sunday and Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ with Jim Abshire and Dwayne Abshire officiating. The burial will follow in the Ward Family Cemetery at Phyllis, Ky.
