Wilma S. Yates

Wilma S. Yates, age 63 passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Hocking Valley Hospital in Logan, Ohio. Wilma was born on Jan. 1, 1949 to her parents the late Carmel Crum and Ona Prater Justice. She was also preceded in death by her step father, Estil Justice. She was the wife of Roger "Tootie" Yates, a homemaker, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her husband, Wilma is survived by two daughters, Ladonna L. Hatton of Ruckersville, Va., Mary Ann Nihiser of Logan, Ohio, one brother, Ralph Justice, four sisters, Sharon Williams, Diane Goff, Patricia Thacker, Penny Hall, four grandchildren, Chynna Hatton, Sidney Hatton, Lilly Mae Nihiser, Ryan Nihiser, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and Jimmy Reed Adkins officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
