James Edward Stiltner, age 59, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at his home. James was born on Sept. 9, 1952 to his parents the late Willie Stiltner and Zella Justice Stiltner. He was the husband of Josephine Hess Stiltner, a coal tipple operator for McCoy Elkhorn Coal Company, and a believer of the Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his wife, James is survived by one son, James Edward (Kristy) Stiltner II of Van Lear, Ky., two daughters, Michelle (Phillip) Fowler of Geraldine, Alabama, Sherry (Teddy) Blackburn of Sharpsburg, Ky., three brothers, Phillip, Jessie, and Chester Stiltner, six sisters, Connie Farmer, Sheila Hess, Judene Anderson, Christine Slone, Shirley Cooksey, Lena Slone, nine grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, July 6, 2012 at 3p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Justice Cemetery at Kimper.
