Turner Boyd

Turner Boyd age 79 passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at his home in Murfreesboro, Tn. Turner was born on April 2, 1933 to his parents the late Alex Boyd and Matilda Smith Boyd. He was the husband of Billie Kinney Boyd, a purchasing agent for Paramount Packaging/Wal-Mart, and he also retired from the U.S. Air Force. Along with his wife, Turner is survived by one daughter, Janie McCormack of Murfreesboron, t., one brother, Roger Boyd of Pikeville, Ky., three grandchildren, Billy K. (Angie) McCormack, Mark K. (Karina) McCormack, Sherry McCormack, four great-grandchildren, Adam McCormack, Skylar McCormack, Blake McCormack, Brianna Landwehr, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday 6p.m. to 8p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
