Barry Joe Hunt

Barry Joe Hunt, age 68, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Mt. View Health Care Center. Barry was born on May 30, 1944 to his parents the late Elige Hunt and Ola Mae Abshire Hunt. He was the husband of Jeanette Webb Hunt, an electrician for Pittston Coal Company, and a member of the Phyllis Church of Christ. Along with his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Salyers Hunt, and one sister, Brenda Topp. Along with his wife, Barry is survived by one son, Barry Wayne (Pam) Hunt of Sydney, Ky., one daughter, Rebecca (H.R.) Miller of Pikeville, Ky., two brothers, Victor Hunt of Millard, Ky., Blake Hunt of Fed's Creek, Ky., two sisters, Mildred Slone of Fed's Creek, Janet Moore of Canton, Ohio, four grandchildren, Tiffany Good, Bethany Hunt, Hunter Miller, and Chloe Miller, several nieces and nephews and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Church of Christ Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
