Zelda Reynolds Bertrand

Zelda Reynolds Bertrand, age 87, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Zelda was born on Jan. 24, 1925 to her parents the late Miles Reynolds and Polly Ann Justice Reynolds. She was the wife of the late James Robert Bertrand, a retired school teacher for the Pike County School System, a member of the Mountain View Church of Christ, NEA, and KEA. Along with her husband and parents, Zelda was preceded in death by one brother, Ervel Reynolds, three sisters, Edith Reynolds Roberts, Clara Reynolds Dawson, and Merle Reynolds Wright. Zelda is survived by three daughters, Donna Carol Bertrand, Jean Kathryn Bertrand Bottom, Anita Louise Bertrand Justice, two brothers, Perry Finis Reynolds, Frennie Warren Reynolds, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Mt. View Church of Christ. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Mt. View Church of Christ with Frank Crum and Joe Hall officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
