Sarah Irick Alley

Sarah Irick Alley, age 83 of Pikeville, KY. passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on December 2, 1928, the daughter of the late William and Minnie Stevens Irick. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Alley, by a son, Larry Alley, by nine brothers and four sisters. She is survived by six sons, Arville Alley, Chester Alley, Gary Alley, Michael Alley, Jimmy Alley and Tony Alley, by two daughters, Minnie Marie Madden and Patricia Marshall, by one brother, Paul William "Bill" Irick, by five sisters, Ethel Daniels, Jewel Stevens, Flo Buckley, Dean Freebody, and Joetta Antolovic, by eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and twenty-four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dwight Buckley and Bud Crum officiating. Burial will follow in the Justice & Adkins Cemetery at Hurricane Creek.
