Jimmy "Bobo" Cantrell, age 59, of Shelby Gap, KY, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on September 27, 1952, the son of the late Roy and Beulah Sampson Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and Roy Cantrell, Jr. and by four sisters, Magdalene Sanders, Shirley Galford, Birtie Riesenburg, and Gretta Buchanan. He is survived by two brothers, Gary Cantrell and Jerry Cantrell, and by four sisters, Martha Anderson, Diane Sexton, Barbara Baker, and Mildred Hughes, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Church of God Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Sam Bentley Cemetery at Payne Gap, KY. Special services will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.
