Charles E. McGuire

Charles E. McGuire, age 79 passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic. Charles was born on April 6, 1933 to his parents the late Forrest McGuire and Effie Williamson McGuire. He was the husband of Ella Jo Miller McGuire, a line worker for East Ky. Beverage, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Leon McGuire, three sisters, Mageline McGuire, Catherine McGuire Robinette and Dolly McGuire Robinson. Along with his wife, Charles is survived by two sons, Neal (Sharon) McGuire, Brian (Stephanie) McGuire, two brothers, Leslie (Gloretta) McGuire, Ralph (Betty) McGuire, two granddaughters, Leila Dawn McGuire, Kelsey Elizabeth McGuire, one step grandson, Gary Matthew Goff, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. visitation will be Saturday at Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with Richard Staton, Dale Williamson, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery at Lower Johns Creek.
