Ruby Della Keene

Ruby Della Keene age 85 passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at her home. Ruby was born on Dec. 5, 1926 to her parents the late Fred Stiltner and Hattie Stiltner. She was the wife of the late Everett Keene, a homemaker, and a member of the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Ruby was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Ray Keene, two brothers, Roy and Tex Stiltner, and one sister, JoAnn Scanbell. Ruby is survived by three sons, Terry Keene of Greasy Creek, David Keene of Shelbiana, James Keene of Greasy Creek, one daughter, Teresa Robinette of Virgie, one brother, Denver Stiltner, three sisters, Pearl McClanahan, Alice Copley, Brenda Myers, special friend and caretaker, Linda Gail Adkins, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
