George G. Ellis

George G. Ellis, age 82 passed away Thursday October 25,2012 at the Hazard Hospice Care Center. George was born September 17,1930 to his parents the late Rev. Hugh Ellis and Lila Elizabeth Pack Ellis. He was a Physical Therapist Assistant,National Mine Service Company-Salesman,He was in the Masonic Lodge,Served in the Korean War- Airforce and was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church. Along with his parents George was preceded in death by Four Brothers and Two Sisters. George is survived by his wife Ollie Jane Hubbard Ellis, One Son, Hugh W.(Kim)Ellis of London,Ky., Two Daughters,Madonna L.(David) Sturgill of Jenkins,Ky.,Lisa Gaye (Edwin)Sanders of Jenkins,Ky. Five Grandchildren, Michael Sean Ellis, Brandon Todd Ellis, Ricky Scott Rose, James Ellis, Crystal Lucas. Seven Great Grandchildren, Joshua Wagner, Malicah Adkins, Lee Ann Adkins, Sierra Paige Rose, Brenden Ellis, Michael Ellis, Sean Ellis, and a host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Saturday October 27,2012 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday October 28,2012 1 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Green Acres Cemetery at Whitesburg,Ky. Church Services will be Saturday at 7 p.m.
