Frank M. Coleman

Frank M. Coleman, age 89 passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at his home. Frank was born on Nov. 22, 1922 to his parents the late Lanta Coleman and Myra Thacker. He was the husband of Marie Thacker Coleman, a retired coal miner for Republic Steel, and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Letha Anderson Coleman, one son, Thomas Albert Coleman, five brothers, Austin, Lanta Jr., Clinton, Mike, Jack, and one sister, Laura. Along with his wife, Frank is survived by three sons, Nolan (Patricia) Coleman, Rolan (Sharon Kay) Coleman, Rocky (Ronda) Coleman, one daughter, Lesia (Joe) Damron, one brother, Bradley Coleman, ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Samaria Old REgular Baptist Church. Church services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church with Jimmy Dale Sanders and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
