Raymond Lester Newsome

Raymond Lester Newsome, age 87, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital. Raymond was born on Oct. 29, 1925 to his parents the late Roscoe Newsome and Emma Bridgeman Newsome. He was a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by three sisters, and four brothers. Raymond is survived by one special niece, Lois Conn, and a host of loving nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 1p.m. to 4p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Newsome Branch Cemetery at Penny Road.
