Ella Jo McGuire

Ella Jo McGuire, age 74, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ella was born on March 29, 1938 to her parents the late Reuben Miller and Ada Terry Miller. She was the wife of the alte Charles E. McGuire, a homemaker, and a member of the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Ella was preceded in death by two brothers, J.E. Miller, Eugene Miller, and one sister, Emma Sue Miller. Ella Jo is survived by two sons, Neal (Sharon) McGuire, Brian (Stephanie) McGuire, five sisters, Imogene Worrix, Mary Lou Lyons, Joyce Justice, Rita Rhodes, Zita Tooley, two granddaughters, Leila Dawn McGuire, Kelsey Elizabeth McGuire, one step grandson, Gary Matthew Goff, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday at Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be both nights at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday Nov. 11, 2012 at 11a.m. at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with Dale Williamson, Danny Runyon, & others officiating. The burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery at Lower Johns Creek.
