Mildred Marie Hughes

Mildred Marie Cantrell Hughes age 80, passed away Friday November 9,2012 at Whitesburg ARH. Mildred was born June 6, 1932 to her parents the late Roy and Beulah Sampson Cantrell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of Burdine. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Hughes, four sisters and three brothers. Mildred is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lynn Maggard of Jenkins,Ky. and Amanda Marie Fleming of Russell Springs, Ky. two brothers, Gary (Kay) Cantrell, Jerry (Beverly) Cantrell,three sisters, Martha (Ulan) Anderson, Barbara (Ronnie)Baker, Diane (Avis) Sexton, three grandchildren, Serenna Maggard, Matthew Maggard, Sherman Maggard Jr., one great grandchild, Brayden Fleming and a host of family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly. visitation will be Sunday November 11,2012 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Tuesday November 13,2012 2 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sam Bentley Cemetery at Payne Gap. Church Services will be Sunday and Monday Night at 7 p.m.
