Betty Lou Taylor, age 70 passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at her home. Betty was born on June 18, 1942 to her parents the late Ovis V. Funk and Bonnie Lee Funk. She was the wife of Jerry Willis Taylor, a homemaker, and a member of the Church of God. Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by four sisters, Madge Marie Sheldon, Nadine Dudley, Beulah Hurley, and Wilma Ann Bishop. Along with her husband, Betty is survived by three sons, Michael G. Taylor, Kenneth W. Taylor, Gary D. Taylor, one daughter, Rachel M. Hager, one brother, Paul R. Funk, two sisters, Mary E. Anderson, Stella Williams, sixteen grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Larry Abshire, Eddie Dotson, and Robert Coleman officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
