Icy Collier

Icy Johnson Collier, age 91 passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Icy was born on March 31, 1921 to her parents the late Willie Boyd Johnson and Vina Johnson Johnson. She was the wife of the late Has Collier, a homemaker, and a member of the Speight Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Icy was preceded in death by one daughter, Verily Collier, three grandsons, two sisters, Lula Johnson, Agnes Taylor, and two brothers, Lonzo Johnson & Bill Johnson. Icy is survived by two sons, Carlos (Donette) Collier, Anthony (Denessa) Collier, six daughters, Flonnie (Bruce) Riddle, Wilma (Joseph) Fouts, Carol (Herman) Fleming, Saundra (Donnie) Little, Louise (Bill) Riddle, Joan (Blake) Hylton, seventeen grandchildren, seventeen step grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Brad Taylor and Edley Newsome officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
