Emry Ray

Emry Ray age 90 passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at the Signature Health Care Center. Emry was born on Nov. 5, 1922 to his parents the late Bradley Ray and Liza Stanley Ray. He was the husband of the late Glennis Scott Ray, a carpenter for Scott's Builders and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his wife and parents, Emry was preceded in death by one son, Lewis Ray. Emry is survived by three sons, Larry, Lester, & Lonnie Ray, one daughter, Agnes Justice, three sisters, Lula Ray, Aster Lynch, Maxine Leslie, seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday Nov. 30, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Scott Cemetery at Joe's Creek.
