Herbie Allen Bailey

Herbie Allen Bailey, age 54, of Pikeville, Ky. passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012, in Nevada, MO. He was born on May 11, 1958, the son of the late Herbert Baiely and Ira Mae Damron Bailey. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Patrick Aaron Daniels and Allen Dean Daniels. Herbie had been a coal miner and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army. He is survived by his wife, Tena Faye Shannon Bailey, by five sons, Travis Lee, Donald Allen, Steven Shane, Steven Cory, and Jeffrey Ryan, by four daughters, Tanya Marie, Cassandra Dawn, Ashley Leann, and Rose Marie, by a sister, Wanda Louise Johnson, and by twenty one grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Vernon Damron and Edgar McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7 p.m.
