William Jefferson "Boshy" Taylor

William Jefferson "Boshy" Taylor, age 84 of Sidney, Ky. passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on March 26, 1928, the son of the late Kelsey and Alice Helen Smith Taylor. Before his retirement Boshy was a diesel mechanic for the Eastern Coal Company. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Anita Carollyn "Ann" Young Taylor, by one son, Todd Taylor of Sidney, KY, by a daughter, Michelle Spencer of Lebanon, VA, by three brothers, Theodore Taylor, John Taylor and James Lonnie Taylor all of Sidney, KY, by a special nephew, Chris Taylor of Sidney, KY, and by a niece, Angela Sue McKinney. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery at Dix Fork of Sidney.
