Gary Gene Alley

Gary Gene Alley age 65 passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at Signature Health Care Center. Gary was born on Dec. 20, 1947 to his parents Ogle Alley and the late Gladys May Alley. Gary was a coal miner, member of Army Reserves, and a member of the Gulnare Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his father, Gary is survived by his step mother Eloise Alley, one son, Garith Alley of Manchester, Ky., one daughter, Anndrea Alley Burchett of Mt. Sterling, Ky., three brothers, Benny Alley of Louisville, Ky., Reford Alley of Va., Bo Alley of Pike County, half sister, Linda Self, five grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 5p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at 1p.m.at the Gulnare Freewill Baptist Church with Barry Clark and Stacy Stepp officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations made to Gulnare Freewill Baptist Church.
