Dortha Vipperman Hunt

Dortha Vipperman Hunt, age 70 passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at her home. Dortha was born on August 26, 1942 to her parents the late Glen Vipperman and Pluma Justice Vipperman. She was the wife of Andrew Hunt, a self employed care giver, and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Dortha was preceded in death by one brother, James Robert. Along with her husband, Dortha is survived by one son, Rocky Clay Hunt, two daughters, Irene Hunt (Ricky) Collins, Kitty Hunt (Stephen) Kennard, two sisters, Margaret Ann (Carl) Coleman, Glennis (Fonso) Hatfield, two brothers, Glen (Kai) Vipperman, James (Trish) Robert Vipperman, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Varney Branch Calvary Church. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at 1p.m. at the Varney Branch Calvary Church with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Varney Branch Cemetery.
