Lloyd Clayton Lucas Sr.

Lloyd Clayton Lucas Sr. age 78 passed away Friday January 11, 2013 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Ky. Lloyd was born February 2, 1934 to his parents, the late Sam and Minervia Lucas. Lloyd was a retired coal miner from Beth-Elkhorn Coal Co. and was of the Christian Faith. Along with his parents Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Lucas, two sisters, Fannie Baker and Adina Lucas, four brothers, Lester Lucas, Ellis Lucas, James Lucas, Sidney Lucas. Lloyd is survived by three daughters, Teresa Hall, Zeela Mullins and Regina Baker two sons, Lloyd Clayton Lucas Jr. and Jeff Lucas, two brothers, Sam Lucas Jr., Aaron Lucas, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Saturday January 12,2013 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Monday January 14,2013 12 noon at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Sunday Night 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Sam Lucas Cemetery.
