Freddie D. Collier

Freddie D. Collier, age 77, of Nancy, Ky. passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Lake Cumberland Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1935, the son of the late Dave and Lillian Collier. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joella Faye Craft Collier. Before his retirement, Freddie worked for AEP. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by a son, Steve Collier, by a brother, Don Collier, by two grandchildren, Kyle (Vanessa) Collier and Ashlie Wallace and by five great grandchildren, Nehemiah James, Kaylyn, Kevin, Keegan and Ashton. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday night at 7 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset, KY.
