Sharon Bowling

Sharon Lynn Wright Bowling, age 63, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Sharon was born on June 8, 1949 to her parents Orchid Sanders Wright and the late Archie Wright. She was the wife of Charles Allen Bowling, a retired school teacher for the Pike County Board of Education, and a member of the Dorton Methodist Church. Along with her father, Sharon was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Bowling, and one brother, Danny Wright. In addition to her husband and mother, Sharon is survived by one daughter, Kristin (Greg) Napier, one son, David (Rebecca) Bowling, two sisters, Pam Deskins, Karen Robinson, Five grandchildren, Lily, Lacy, Brooks, Olivia, & Isabelle, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday Feb. 9, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Glen Wallace and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Phillips Cemetery at Caney.
