Linda Sue Smith

Linda Sue Carroll Smith age 58 passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Linda was born on January 6, 1955 to her parents the late Herman Carroll and Mary Alice Brewer Carroll. She was the wife of the late Oda Smith, a seamstress and homemaker, and a member of the Manuel Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Michael Carroll. Linda is survived by two sons, Scott Ray Smith, Kaywood Smith both of Monticello, Ky., one sister, Brenda Carroll Slone of Island Creek, two brothers, Ronnie Carroll of Island Creek, Matthew Carroll of Stanville, Ky., one granddaughter, MaKayla Nicole Smith, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday at 6p.m. at the Island Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be at 7p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral will be Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at 1p.m. at New Salem Baptist Church in Monticello, Ky. The burial will follow in the Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
