Barbara Case

Barbara Ellen Carnes Case, age 85, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in Bardstown, Ky. Barbara was born on Nov. 29, 1927 to her parents the late James Carnes and Molly Kimberlin Carnes. She was the wife of the late General Case Jr., a homemaker, and a member of the Zebulon Church of Christ. Along with her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sons, James Andy Case, David Case, two brothers, Joseph and Wallace Carnes, four sisters, Carrie Bonnell, Stella Johnson, Anna Mae Charles, and Neil Slone. Barbara is survived by one daughter, Carol (Billy) Ford, one son, Wallace (Teresa) Case, five grandchildren, James David Case, Joseph Hall, Kyle Hall, Courtney Case, Kristen Hall, five great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Joe Hall, Billy Ford, Shane Lockard officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
