King Solomon Osborne age 71 passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center. King was born on June 19, 1941 to his parents the late Melvin Osborne and Etta Ray Osborne. He was the husband of Katheryn Bartley Osborne, and a retired truck driver. Along with his parents, King was preceded in death by two brothers Doug and James Osborne, and several sisters. Along with his wife, Solomon is survived by one son, Melvin Douglas Osborne, two daughters, Anita Jill Osborne, Crystal Dawn Osborne, special friends, Jim and Mary Marshall, one brother, Bill Osborne, three sisters, Gladys Adkins, Katherine Hall, and Coreen Marshall, two grandchildren, Nathan Ryan Osborne, Natasha Renee Osborne, one great granddaughter, Kyler Gracelin Conn, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery at Little Robinson.
