Shelby LaRae Damron

Shelby LaRae Damron, age 12, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Pikeville. She was born on May 26, 2000 to her parents, Tammie Runyon and Greg Damron. She was a student at Johns Creek Elementary School. In addition to her parents, Shelby is survived by step mother, Jackie Damron, two sisters, Haley Damron, Whitney Shenefield, maternal grandparents: Don Runyon and Sue Runyon, paternal grandparents: Vernon Damron and Elizabeth Damron, Grandmother:Mammer Martha Roberts, Special Aunt, Sissy Cheree Thornbury, uncles Vernon G., Steve L., and Chad S. Damron, her beloved puppy, Sophie Belle Damron, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday April 11, 2013 at 11a.m. at the Johns Creek Elementary School with Tommy Reed and Dewayne Abshire officiating. The burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel, Ky. In lieu of flowers, Family has ask donations to Johns Creek volleyball, softball, or cheerleaders.
