Wayne Irick

Wayne Irick age 81 passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his home. Wayne was born on Sept. 20, 1931 to his parents the late Sam Irick and Mary Jane King Irick. He was the husband of the late Eliza Jane Coleman Irick, retired from Chrysler Corp., and carpenter, and a member of the First Baptist Church. Along with his wife and parents, Wayne was preceded in death by one grandson, Matthew Irick, two brothers, Jonah and Joe Irick, and three sisters, Norma Lowe, Sylvia Carroll, and Vern Lowe. Wayne is survived by one daughter, Wanda June (Doug) Fife, three sons, Timothy (Connie) Irick, Samuel David (Misty) Irick, John Dewayne (Amanda) Irick, two former daughter in laws, Angie Dorton, and Tammy Justice, one brother, Jullian Irick, two sisters, Hazel McCoslin, Virley Hamilton, five grandchildren, Timothy Irick, Ryan (Lynn) Tackett, Samuel Irick, Michael Irick, Jennifer Fife, two great-grandchildren, Kinley Tackett, Kailyn Tackett, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, April 28th, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Paul Vernon Damron and Earl Dean Newsome officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
