Gladys Hylton

Gladys Hylton, age 86, passed away Friday, April 26th, 2013 at the Mt. View Health Care Center. Gladys was born on Oct. 15, 1926 to her parents the late Riley Thacker and Virgie Thacker. She was the wife of the late Elmer Hylton, a homemaker, and a member of the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Gladys was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Spradlin, one son, Larry Hylton, five brothers and four sisters. Gladys is survived by two sons, Foster Hylton, Kenneth Hylton, four daughters, Trina Hylton, Virgie Wood, Donna Smith, Judy Torun, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 1p.m. at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Stacy Hopson, Jimmy Dale Sanders and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Eck Ratliff Cemetery at Wolfpit.
